Segal's ATA Tae Kwon Do Studio in Santa Rosa offers students the opportunity to test life drawing skills and learn more about how to draw action scenes and martial arts. Also, students can try out a Tae Kwon Do class for free! Click for more details.

Fanime 2010: May 28-31
Famous for its artists, rare anime & manga goods, and fun, friendly cosplayers, Fanime is the Bay Area's largest and most anticipated Anime convention. Held at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California, Fanime has something fun for every devotee of anime and manga. This will be Megamoth Studio's second anniversary exhibiting and cosplaying, so check out what we have in store this year!

WonderCon 2010: April 2-4
Located at the Mosconi Center in San Francisco, California, WonderCon is the smaller, closer and more comic-based cousin of the infamous San Diego Comic Con. WonderCon offers everything from comics to manga to movies, with both corporate and independent exhibitors. We will be exhibiting in the artist alley at booth 66, so come check us out!

APE 2009- October 17-18, 2009
APE, or the Alternative Press Expo, is a small yet immensely enjoyable convention at the Concourse in San Francisco, California. APE focuses on independent artists and comic publishers, as well as non-corporate comic retailers. Megamoth Studio had the honor of exhibiting with amazing, friendly people and their wonderful art, crafts and comics.

Held at my house, weekly meetings give students extra work time to complete their Convention-based assignments. Here is where you will find the meeting schedule as well as details on each meeting's theme, and what materials to bring.

Anime Marathon: Trigun- Jul. 10

Anime Marathon: Vision of Escaflowne- May 1
If at all possible, we will be watching the entirety of the beautiful fantasy epic, Vision of Escaflowne, in one day!

Anime Marathon: Neon Genesis Evangelion- Nov. 14
From 10am to 10pm, we watched the entire series of Neon Genesis Evangelion. All 26 episodes, as well as the End of Evangelion movie! "To all the children, congratulations!"
